In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order you can save your game in a way that you may be familiar. The game uses a system of meditation points that allow you to save your progress and act as checkpoints where you can level up your character, heal, and mark your progress.
Meditation Points act as save points and check points for you.
These points are dotted around the different planets and areas that you visit, and each time you find one you should probably rest and save your game. If you’ve ever played any of the Dark Souls games the Meditation points in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order function pretty much the same way.
If you save at the Meditation Point this is where you’ll spawn when/if you die. So, the closer you are the better. The Meditation Spots do function similarly to how they function in Dark Souls as well, meaning that you’ll repopulate any enemies that you may have beat on your way to the meditation spot.
Still, the lure of being able to save your progress or level up your character is more than enough to visit these spots on the ground as often as you can. Meditation spots aren’t just a one use thing either. You can use them as often as you like.
Look for the spots on the ground as you explore the world of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and when you come across one simply press the E Key on PC or Click in the Right Thumbstick on PlayStation or Xbox controllers.
