As you make your way through the world of V Rising, you’ll need to start upgrading your gear to start taking on new bosses. Once you have created your Blood Altar, you’ll notice that bosses jump in level quickly, so you’ll need to start working on new gear quickly. Especially since all of the bosses will unlock new materials, machines, and powers that you can use to make sure you become the greatest vampire of all time.
However, you’ll need to get your hands on some rare items to get higher-powered gear, since many items require Greater Blood Essence. You’ll need to get your hands on four Unsullied Hearts to craft this material, and the Unsullied Heart is not easy to find. Find out how to get your hands on some of them with our guide!
The Blood Press Is Just The Start For Unsullied Hearts In V Rising
Since the Unsullied Heart is one of the rarer items in the game, there is no particular spot to get your hands on one at any given point. One way to guarantee that you’ll get an Unsullied Heart is by defeating bosses, who may drop these when defeated. If you’re powerful enough, you can also hunt down High-Level Enemies, that may also drop an Unsullied Heart. Since you can farm bosses, as well as enemies, this may your best way to get them in the earlier game, since bosses like the Alpha Wolf are only level 16.
However, if you’re powerful enough to hunt down and takedown Tristan the Vampire Hunter, who will drop a recipe for Greater Blood Essence, which will allow you to use your standard Blood Essences to create this powerful blood material.
Let it be known that this is quite the powerful boss, as he is a Level 46 enemy, so you’ll need to be fairly far into the game to get powerful enough to take them on. However, after defeating Tristan, you’ll be able to start crafting some great items quickly, rather than needing to continuously farm bosses and enemies for the chance to get one.
Finding and defeating enemies that are at least Level 30 has shown to drop an Unsullied Heart, but this is fairly rare, so farming bosses, and defeating Tristan the Vampire Hunter would be your best bet to start farming for Unsullied Hearts or the recipe to create Greater Blood Essense.
