Pretty much every game mechanic in Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is filtered through the uniquely quirky style of Suda51 and Grasshopper. This includes something as simple as saving your game, which is handled in a similar manner to the Wii classics from this series. Just in case you didn’t play them though, here’s how to save in Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes.

Toilets. That’s how you do it. Yeah.

There’s no menu option to save your game in Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, instead you have to hunt down the nearest toilet to have a seat and “save”. In the first stage, these usually take the form of a port-a-potty, but that changes as you move on to new stages. At your trailer, for example, you can just head to the bathroom nearby. For future levels, it will vary.

Some of these toilets are close together, but often there is a large section of the level in between save opportunities. One thing to note is that saving your game does more than just log your progress. It has many other benefits as well, so make sure you do it often.

And that’s how to save in Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes
