Vanguard Weapon XP Grind: Fastest Ways to Level Up Weapons in Call of Duty: Vanguard

Recommended Videos

Call of Duty: Vanguard is launched to the masses and many eager players will be aiming to get their weapons ranked and levelled up as quickly as possible. There is a myriad of different weapons to earn rewards for and this guide will take you through everything you need to know about how to take advantage of the Call of Duty: Vanguard weapon levelling system to propel yourself to the forefront of the pack for weapon XP gains.

How to Level Up Weapons in Call of Duty: Vanguard

Weapon levelling in the latest instalment works similarly to the earlier entries in the franchise. Weapon XP is gained by either playing the Multiplayer mode or Zombies mode depending on what you would most like to choose to spend your time in for the grind.

You will gain experience points for your weapon by simply earning kills, points, and/or completing rounds and finishing multiplayer modes. When you earn a certain amount of experience points, your weapon will level up and when it does you will unlock precious attachments which will assist you in the gameplay to earn an extra edge and furthermore unlock new camos when completing weapon challenges to use and equip for your chosen arsenal.

The Best Modes to Gain Weapon Experience Within

Focusing specifically on the multiplayer for Call of Duty: Vanguard weapon levelling will give you an abundance of choices of modes to partake in to gain weapon experience points. The choice of mode is important for this as players will be more confident in some modes than others and notably, the time you spend in some modes will be longer thus you will gain more weapon XP during the round.

Firstly, one game mode that players could choose to focus on is ‘Search and Destroy’ for significant XP gains in exchange for a higher risk factor. Along with this, the set of Harcore modes in the game will offer players fast-paced gameplay but greater potential gains for XP due to the speed of killing being increased.

Further, modes such as ‘Hardpoint’ will offer players a longer duration of time during a match to earn that all-important XP.

Extra Tips and Tricks for Levelling Weapons Quickly

There are also numerous extra tricks that can be taken into consideration for faster levelling. One of which is linked to the operators you customise and opting to include the ‘Surplus’ kit which will award additional XP for eliminations of enemies.

Another trick linked to the operators is that on the ranking pathway of particular operators, there will be specific weapon XP boosts for a particular Operator. For example, when Wade reaches level 12, you will unlock 1500 XP for the Type 100 weapon. Always make sure to check through all of the Operator’s pathways before starting a weapon XP grind to look out for this.

Will you be taking these tips and tricks on board to start levelling your weapons in Call of Duty: Vanguard this month?

Call of Duty: Vanguard launches on November the 5th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
