The Wolfenstein series is always known for its running and gunning gameplay style, but that is not the only way to play in Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Rather than relying on your machine gun, you can also sneak up on enemies include to prevent them from alerting others. This guide will explain just how to stay quiet and get stealth kills.
How To Stealth Kill in Wolfenstein: Youngblood
There are definitely some tough sections in Wolfenstein: Youngblood and taking a stealthier approach can definitely be a good idea. This can be made even better if you have access to the cloaking technique we discussed in another guide, as that can let you approach enemies ever easier.
To get stealth kills, what you need to do first is move up on the level pretty slowly, quickly diving behind walls if you see an enemy. Also be watching for the map, as the orange dots on the map that show up at times represent moving enemies.
When you see an enemy up ahead that has their back turned to you, crouch, switch to your melee weapon, and start moving up towards them. If you have the cloaking technique, definitely use this here too as a way to make this process more efficient. Keep an eye on the enemy to make sure they do not turn towards you, as that will ruin everything if they see you.
Once you inch up close to them, you will notice an icon appear on the screen that indicates you can stealth kill the enemy. To execute this, press down on the right analog stick and you will instantly take down the enemy and no one will be any the wiser.
The only time this won’t work is if the enemy has too much armor and the stealth kill fails, but you can avoid this issue by getting the Supersoldat Hunter skill in the game. This will then let you take down Supersoldaten with stealth kills as well.
