Even though Assassin’s Creed Unity and the Halo: Master Chief Collection came out last week, they couldn’t dethrone Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in the UK charts.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was still number one in the UK gaming charts for the second week in a row. It does have an advantage somewhat since the game is available for PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. The PC version wasn’t placed in the charts however.

Assassin’s Creed Unity had to settle for second place releasing for PS4 and Xbox One. Halo: The Master Chief Collection settled for third place. This is still impressive since the game is an Xbox One exclusive after all.

The PS4 still seems to be the platform of choice for UK gamers. The PS4 version of Assassin’s Creed Unity outsold the Xbox One version. For the second week in a row, the PS4 version was the most popular platform for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare buyers.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue placed at only sixth at the charts. The Xbox 360 version was the platform of choice. PES 2015 placed at only number eight. It lost out to FIFA 15 which is still high at number four.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is likely to lose the top spot next week. The likes of Grand Theft Auto V, Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age: Inquisition are sure to change things up.

It’s worth noting these charts only calculate retail sales of games. Digital purchases are not counted.
