It was recently revealed that developer Remedy Entertainment filed a trademark for something called Alan Wake’s Return, which many are assuming will be the next game in the Alan Wake series. However, that name also pops up in Remedy’s upcoming game Quantum Break, according to a Polygon preview.

There are a lot of Alan Wake Easter eggs that can be found just within the first few hours of the game that includes Alan Wake’s Return, though we won’t go into detail here to avoid what are described as some pretty big spoilers. If that kind of thing doesn’t bother you then hop to the link right here for more information.

Even though Alan Wake won’t be getting a sequel anytime soon, those who purchase Quantum Break will be getting a free copy of the first game. Pre-ordering Quantum Break will also get you a free copy of the spin-off Alan Wake’s American Nightmare.

Quantum Break is set to launch on April 5th for Xbox One and PC, with an accompanying live action TV show that streams from the cloud because all of the content couldn’t possible fit on one disc due to the branching storyline.
