New Avatar Kinect Tech Video

by | @AttackFanboy | on February 23, 2011

Microsoft recently held a closed demonstration of the already announced Avatar Kinect functionality that is coming to Xbox Live.  In the video the facial mesh technology that was showed off at CES seems to be working surprisingly well, alongside the tracking of hands and body parts which the Kinect is currently capable of tracking.  The demo also showcased a full section for Avatar Kinect with a wide array of options for chatting, games, and other social features for the Kinect.

There is still no concrete release date for the Avatar Kinect feature but perhaps we will get more clarity from Microsoft’s San Francisco event.
