Today is a big day for Gearbox’s Battleborn, as the developer has revealed the game’s 30th hero while also releasing new story DLC. The new hero is named Beatrix, and the developer claims that she will be added to the game within the next couple of months. She’ll cost 7,500 in-game credits or can be unlocked with a hero key.
They did share some background information on the character, however. She is “a former scientist [that] has a fondness, if not obsession with hygiene, precision and manipulating living creatures by injecting them with lethal debuffs and disease from her prosthetic syringe-arm.”
The new story DLC is called Toby’s Friendship Raid and is available to download now. You can download it as part of the season pass, or with 700 Platinum via the in-game marketplace. Gearbox provides the following description:
“This all-new story operation let’s players fight their way through LLC manufacturing facilities’ deadly traps and enemies to earn new skins, taunts, and chances to unlock Faction Commander Packs while pursuing their mission to restore Toby’s mech suit to its rightful owner.”
Battleborn is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
