Battlefield players will be doing battle in a new era this fall when Battlefield 1 releases. A series that’s been rooted in the modern era for the last few console cycles will be heading back to World War I with this new release. Heading back makes the Battlefield 1 Weapons List look a lot different than what fans have grown accostumed to in recent years.
If you’ve seen any of the many gameplay videos out there, you’ve noticed that the weapons have changed significantly. You can check out some gameplay on our YouTube channel that shows off some Alpha gameplay (Battlefield 1 Alpha Video Part 1, Part 2) if you’ve yet to see some unfiltered footage.
Though a new video from DICE shows off even more weaponary for Battlefield 1, with developers explaining some of the choices that they’ve made for which weapons made it into the game.
While our hands-on impressions of Battlefield 1 left us feeling that DICE hadn’t strayed too far away from the popular Battlefield formula, the weapons in Battlefield 1 certainly have a distinct feel that will be very different than previous games.
