Battlefield 3 is $10 on Origin Today, franchise turns ten years old

by | @AttackFanboy | on September 20, 2012

Battlefield 3 and other select Battlefield titles are on a celebratory sale today through EA’s Origin network. The occasion? It’s the Battlefield franchise’s 10th anniversary. More importantly you can pick up the normally pricey editions of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Digital Deluxe ($49.99) and Battlefield 3 ($39.99) for ten bucks. That’s a pretty impressive deal, which is why EA is only conducting the special for one day only.

Battlefield 3 recently saw its second expansion arrive on the PlayStation 3, PC, and Xbox 360 with Armored Kill. Now this doesn’t come with the $10 version of the game, but if you’ve missed out on Battlefield 3 thus far, you’ll likely get wrangled in by the unique squad based gameplay style and beautiful graphics on PC and end up going in for the DLC as well.

Head here for a list of all of the Battlefield titles on sale today.
