Blizzard outlines Hearthstone Curse of Naxxramas Season Pass pricing

Blizzard is planning on releasing an upcoming multi-stage expansion to Hearthstone called Curse of Naxxramas.   The expansion to Hearthstone will open one stage at a time, with a new wing opening each week according to a recent post on Battle.net

The first wing:  Arachnid Quarter will be available for free during the launch event for the expansion.  This launch window will stay open for roughly a month.  After Arachnid Quarter, the next four wings of Curse of Naxxramas can be purchased for either 700 gold per wing or $6.99.

Players will be able to pay with either in-game currency or cold hard cash.  Earning the gold to unlock the wings can be done through “completing various quests or emerging victorious from the Arena.”  Blizzard also says that Curse of Naxxramas content will also be available in bundles, the prices of which can be found below.

Blizzard also revealed the new Heroic Mode in Curse of Naxxramas, which allows the new mode to unlock once a player has defeated all bosses in a given wing for the first time. Bosses in the Heroic Mode will be “significantly more difficult.”    Defeating all of the Heroic Mode bosses will unlock a new card for your Hearthstone collection.

Blizzard says that Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas is “coming soon” and should be arriving withing the next few weeks.
