Blizzard is planning on releasing an upcoming multi-stage expansion to Hearthstone called Curse of Naxxramas. The expansion to Hearthstone will open one stage at a time, with a new wing opening each week according to a recent post on Battle.net
The first wing: Arachnid Quarter will be available for free during the launch event for the expansion. This launch window will stay open for roughly a month. After Arachnid Quarter, the next four wings of Curse of Naxxramas can be purchased for either 700 gold per wing or $6.99.
Players will be able to pay with either in-game currency or cold hard cash.
