Borderlands 2 available on PSN at launch

by | @AttackFanboy | on September 13, 2012

Borderlands 2 will be made available on the PlayStation Network at launch according to a recent announcement by Sony and Gearbox.  The shoot and loot title is available for pre-order on the PlayStation Network, which allow you access at the moment that the game arrives on the network.

Borderlands 2 follows the story of four new Vault Hunters as they fight to free Pandora from the clutches of Handsome Jack, the brilliant, charismatic, and utterly despicable CEO of the Hyperion Corporation.  Players will fight across the whole of Pandora to stop Jack from awakening an ancient alien evil known only as “the Warrior.” Their quest will bring them into contact with some familiar faces from the old game.

Borderlands 2 is due out next week  and is the sequel to 2009’s breakthrough hit for Gearbox.
