Bungie has moved on from Halo: Reach, or has it?  Today the development studio launched an iOS app that allows you to track your character progression on their most recently released title, Halo: Reach.  Bungie has already hand the reigns over to Microsoft in-house developer 343 Industries earlier in the year, but the “Bungie Mobile” application teases something bigger that stretches far beyond Halo: Reach.

The application which allows you to track your character on Halo: Reach, navigate Bungie News, and find other players registered on Bungie.net, looks like it could be an open beta test for things that may be coming down the line from the developer.  Bungie is definitely working on something big, earlier in the year it was rumored they were working on a MMOFPS codenamed Destiny.  The rumors which have been since shot down, are still widely believed to be true, at least in some parts.

Bungie has big news incoming, the developer noted that Bungie Aerospace will finally be revealed at Bungie Day, later this month.  Bungie Aerospace and their codenamed project are apparently two separate things.  So don’t expect any big reveals about what to expect from the developer just yet, you’re gonna have to wait with the rest of us.
