AÂ new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer has just been released that seems to say exactly what the developers might have been thinking when developing the game. “Screw it, let’s go to space” is the title of the new live-action trailer, which even features a few very recognizable faces in its short runtime.
The video takes the current turmoil of the US election, along with a few of the other things that have people upset with the events of 2016, and essentially says “oh well” to all of it.
“World gone mad? Screw it, let’s go to space,” reads the descriptiong for the Infinite Warfare trailer. “Directed by Peter Berg, follow a crew of gamers – including Michael Phelps and Danny McBride – as they escape the frustrations of Earth and launch into intense dogfights, zero-G combat and classic boots-on-the-ground action across the solar system in this epic new installment in the Call of Duty franchise.”
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has certainly cause a lot of discussion around its new setting, taking the traditionally modern game and taking it into the very far future. Fans have been either delighted or completely upset at the prospect of going to space in the new shooter. It’ll be interesting to see what the final reaction is when Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare hits PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 4th.
