With Winter Siege over in Call of Duty WW2, Sledgehammer Games is gearing up another in-game event called “The Resistance.”  While it’s a couple of weeks away, the developers are already looking at some possible weapon tuning changes that could be made to the game.

Michael Condrey of Sledgehammer Games took to Reddit to reveal some of the internal conversations that the studio is having on some of the most-used guns in the game.

Condrey talks about four different weapons and what the team is looking to possibly do to them.

Kar98K – The developers are considering an ADS Time Nerf.

FG42 – The last rate of fire nerf might have been a little too far and the team is considering something more in the middle of how it was and where it is now.

M1 Garand – Sledgehammer may be adjusting the fire rate, pull up time, and/or reload time for the gun.

STG44 – This popular weapon might be getting a buff to make it more competitive against other rifles and SMGs.

Condrey notes that this list isn’t comprehensive and that they may or may not make the changes listed.

The Resistance DLC for Call of Duty WW2 is slated to arrive on the PlayStation 4 on January 30th.  In the downloadable content there will be three new multiplayer maps, one new War Mode Mission in Operation Intercept, and a new chapter for Zombies Mode.
