A recent preview for EA Sports UFC 2 reveals that CM Punk will be included in the roster for the game. Brock Lesnar on the other hand won’t be in it.
This report comes from a preview written by Mike Bolm via MMAJunkie. Operation Sports summarized all of the juicy parts about the roster.
Wrestling fans will be happy to know that CM Punk will be in EA Sports UFC 2. CM Punk left the WWE unceremoniously back in 2014 after he felt being mistreated for several years. He was not featured in this year’s WWE 2K16 video game.
After leaving WWE, CM Punk’s been training to be a UFC fighter. He has yet to make his debut, but he’s been working hard to make a great impact. It’s great to know he will be in the next game. He’s set to participate in his first UFC fight sometime in 2016.
Brock Lesnar was included as free DLC in EA Sports UFC, but he’s not going to be included in EA Sports UFC 2. This makes sense since he’s signed a new contract with WWE at the moment. He’s retired from MMA forever now.
Brock Lesnar was one of the biggest draw cards for UFC, but had to retire early due to his illness. He’s comfortable being a professional wrestler now.
