In the wake of the PS4 Pro announcement we have been hearing about games that will be utilizing that extra hardware to provide a better experience, though not all games will be making use of that hardware. One major game has just been revealed as not getting a boost from the PS4 Pro hardware, and that game is Bungie’s Destiny.
Bungie executive producer Scott Taylor recently told us at hands-on event at the studio where he revealed that they were not currently planning any support for PS4 Pro. They claim that they’ll be looking into it at some point, but it may be something that won’t happen until Destiny 2.
Rise of Iron is set to launch on September 20th and will be the last expansion for the first game of the series. While we haven’t gotten any official details in regards to what Destiny 2 will be like, it has apparently been in development for some time now.
PS4 Pro is set to launch on November 10th and will cost $399, with the PS4 Slim launching tomorrow and costing $299.
