Diablo 3 PTR 2.2.1 Allows Users To Test A Few Bug Fixes

by AOTF Staff

If you are like me and wait to turn on Battle.Net until you know something good is going on, or a new Diablo 3 season is occurring well it seems Blizzard Entertainment recently put through a Diablo 3 PTR update to test upcoming patch 2.2.1.

After going live recently the Diablo 3 2.2.1 PTR patch notes were revealed on the forums and it appears most of it are bug fixes. They even mentioned not to expect major game changes. The update clocks in at around the 40MB range. Check out the patch notes below.

GENERAL

  • Bug Fixes
    • Fixed an issue that caused some Experience bonuses to be added together rather than being multiplied

USER INTERFACE

  • The recently added social button will now display how many friends you have online and any clan or communities notifications
  • Bug Fixes
    • Fixed an issue that prevented the Greater Rift Completion screen from being closed using the Close All Windows hotkey
    • Seasonal tabs will no longer incorrectly show up on the Achievement and Leaderboard screens when no season is active

As Blizzard mentioned, most of the Diablo 3 PTR changes seem to be cosmetic in nature and no major game-changers. It all goes towards creating a balanced Diablo 3 experience that Blizzard hopes to achieve. No word on when 2.2.1 will hit the main game, but for now it remains in PTR.
