The big announcement was made last week that rather than bringing a full new entry of Disney Infinity later this year, Disney Infinity 3.0 will continue to get support instead. We already know the Marvel Battlegrounds play set is coming next week and now a new play set has been leaked in a very different way.
2016 is setting itself up to be a huge year for movies and Finding Dory is almost certainly going to be one of those when it releases on June 17. With the popularity of the first movie, it would make perfect sense to bring it to Disney Infinity 3.0 and it appears that is exactly what is happening.
Rather than coming in an official reveal or how you’d usually expect something to be leaked, this leak has come courtesy of a box of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese through an image that popped up on Twitter, which says “Dive under the sea with Dory in the new Finding Dory play set for Disney Infinity 3.0.”
On top of this, it actually shows a figure of Dory in the ad that we can expect to come alongside the playset when it releases.
Kraft is known for its partnerships with various properties and it appears Finding Dory will be one of those, so this works very well as a way to advertise an appearance in Disney Infinity 3.0.
