People hoping to purchase Disney Infinity 3.0 figures of Star Wars vehicles are going to be disappointed. Avalanche Studios doesn’t plan on releasing figures on vehicles.
As you may know already, Disney Infinity 3.0 is arguably the biggest game of the franchise as it will include Star Wars characters. Collectors will be able to get figurines of the likes of Darth Vader, Yoda and more. The starter pack includes Anakin Skywalker and Asohka Tano.
One of the best things about the original Star Wars trilogy is how cool looking the vehicles are. Vehicles such as the Millennium Falcon X-Wing and TIE Fighter all look awesome. Sadly though, Disney Infinity 3.0 won’t be making mini figurines of these iconic vehicles.
Avalanche Studios were interviewed by Game Informer explaining why toy figurines of Star Wars vehicles in Disney Infinity 3.0 aren’t being made. Avalanche Studios mentioned that they wanted to make figurines of the vehicles, but couldn’t make it work. If they did add vehicles, they would have had to introduce something “sustainable as a [product] line“. They decided not to make vehicles as it didn’t make sense.
On the plus side, Avalanche Studios said the Millennium Falcon and X-Wing both look great in the actual Disney Infinity 3.0 game itself. It’s just that collectors won’t be able to buy mini figurines of the iconic Star Wars vehicles.
