Tom Clancy’s The Division is the sort of game that will constantly change and evolve over time. This evolution is facilitated by updates and patches, some of which will be small bug fixes, while other are massive gamechangers. The first of these will be The Division: Incursion, the first of two planned free updates that will shift the landscape of the game. Today we got the full release date and content info for the upcoming release, which you can check out below.

The Division: Incursion will hit PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 12th, bringing with it a bunch of new stuff for players to dive into. This includes the first of the game’s “incursions” which are essentially the endgame raids found in other titles of this genre. It will also add smaller features, though still pretty big changes, such as loot trading between players.

Changes include: The new incursion titled Falcon Lost, four new gear sets: Sentry’s Call, Striker’s Battle Gear, Path of the Nomad, and Technician’s Authority, loot trading between squad members, gear allowing stats above level cap, smaller assignments and challenges, supply drops that fall into the Dark Zone, and more.

“Incursions will later be followed by another free update, Conflict, which adds a special incursion into New York’s Columbus Circle, as well as new Dark Zone features. Additionally, three paid DLC expansions are planned throughout the year – Underground, Survival, and Last Stand – which introduce new areas and threats to The Division’s open-world New York. Xbox One players will have 30-day exclusive early access to Underground and Survival, although Incursions, Conflict, and Last Stand will debut on all platforms simultaneously.”

Tom Clancy’s The Division is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For more info on the Incursion update click here to see all of Ubisoft’s notes.
