Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D will arrive on May 24th in North America and Europe. This 3D remake of the Wii title from 2010 was announced for the 3DS back in February, and now Donkey Kong fans have a date to mark on their calendars.
This handheld version could end up being the best version of Donkey Kong Country Returns. With many of the complaints about the Wii title stemming from the controls due to the Wii-mote, the more traditional controls on the 3DS and the 3D visuals could best its Wii release.
Austin based Retro Studios, developer of the original game, are not handling this handheld verion.
