If you had a busy weekend and were unable to take part in the recent DOOM open beta then fear not, as the developers have announced that they will be extending the beta by one day. The beta phase will now come to an end tonight at 11:59 EST.

The open beta originally began on Friday and allowed people to take part in two modes within two maps and includes eight weapons. The beta is available to take part in on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

People had gotten beta access to DOOM earlier this month via a closed beta, which was only accessible to those who pre-ordered last year’s Wolfenstein: The New Order. It ran from March 31st to April 3rd, offering similar content to what is included in the current beta.

DOOM is developed by id Software and will launch on May 13th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
