An English dub for Dragon Ball Super is expected to hit in July or August later this year. This is good news for fans that don’t like reading subtitles all of the time.
A fan asked the official Toonami Asia Twitter page when the English version of Dragon Ball Super will be out. Toonami Asia had some good news as they said: “We’re imagining it will be around July/August – not too much longer to wait!”
Sadly, they didn’t specify on further details about the English dub. We do know that Funimation has yet to be contacted to provide the English dub for the series. The English dub will be provided by another company from the looks of things.
Bear in mind, this English dub is only going to be broadcast in select Asian countries later this year. It’s unknown if countries outside of Asia will be picking up the series or not.
The English dub has a lot to catch up on as this week will be airing the 36th episode of the TV series. The TV series is still ongoing as we are still in the middle of an exciting multi-verse tournament between Team Beerus and Team Champa.
