Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Extra Pack 2 DLC Gets Release Date, New Trailer
Bandai Namco has given more details on the upcoming DLC of their 3D fighting game Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The game will receive next week a DLC package including brand new content for the game including 8 additional characters and a new story mode called Infinite History, which lets players construct their own alternate timeline of the Dragon Ball canon.
Some of the new characters added to the roster include the Ultra Instinct version of Goku, which appeared for the first time in the Dragon Ball Super anime. In this version, Goku can use impressive moves and skills like Automatic Dodge, Soaring Fist, and the Ultimate Skill Godly Display. Other playable characters include Dabra and Buu (Gohan Absorbed), Jiren, the Dragon Ball Super version of Android 17, and Fu, who is directly related to the new story mode. Other extra content includes new costumes, parallel quests, skills, and super souls.
Here is the official description of the new story mode: “Infinite History is the new story scenario featuring the mysterious time-travelling teenage warrior Fu. Players will need to decide if they help Fu by changing the past or not! Choices will lead to different strategical ways which can be followed via the Tokipedia feature. Infinite History also features dedicated CG animated cut scenes depending on the character players select to undertake the mission with.”
The new Extra Pack 2 will launch for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on February 28. Watch the new trailer below.
