UPDATE: The Evil Within: The Assignement will be released this March. Check out the trailer below:
The Evil Within launched this past October, almost exactly four months ago, and we have yet to hear much regarding its three planned DLC episodes. That is finally about to change. In response to one player’s question about the downloadable content’s status on Twitter, Bethesda stated that we should “stay tuned for good news soon“.
Needless to say, the statement is vague and it doesn’t really give us any real timeframe to expect this announcement. But it would seem we aren’t too far off from taking control of Sebastian Castellanos’ partner Juli Kidman in her first two DLC installments, The Assignment and The Consequence. The third and final add-on narrative will not only revolve around the game’s merciless enemy known as The Keeper, it will allow players to take direct control of the relentless monstrosity.
The Evil Within is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. Check back regularly for updates from Bethesda to find out when you can dive into these horrific new narrative additions in The Evil Within.
