Unfortunately, some gamers that own the PS3 version of Far Cry 4 has been met with a “Fatal Error” that makes the game unplayable.

Several people have noticed that the PS3 version of Far Cry 4 does not work for them as they are met with a “Fatal Error” screen. This is an issue that has been happening worldwide, although it’s a bug that has only affected PS3 owners of the game.

Ubisoft is aware of the Far Cry 4 issue and has set up a forum about it. Ubisoft claims that having saved data for Far Cry 3 is causing the error to happen.

Many gamers have noted that they still get the Far Cry 4 error even though they have never played Far Cry 3 before. The best thing players can do is alert Ubisoft of the problem to let them know how many people are affected. They would also like to know which country you are from too to see if it’s a regional problem.

Some gamers speculate it’s Far Cry 4’s 1.01 patch that is to blame. People that didn’t download the patch have been able to play the game fine according to those that have commented on the Ubisoft forums.

Hopefully Ubisoft finds out what the real problem is so PS3 owners of Far Cry 4 can play the game like normal.
