The highly-anticipated multiplayer shooter from Blizzard Entertainment, called Overwatch, is out now and everyone is getting a shot at the great new shooter from the World of Warcraft developer. However, some people just can’t stand playing with randoms, and for those people there is a new tool that helps you find good teammates in the game.
A Reddit user named elapse has created an LFG tool called OverwatchLF, which allows you to find groups of players and individual players that are looking to join a group. You also have the ability to find players from specific platforms, as well as filter between players with and without microphones.
While the tool is in the early stages of things right now, there are plans to improve and expand upon it going forward. Elapse intends to add Battle.net support to the tool, as well as improve chat support and mobile quality. You can check out the OverwatchLF tool by clicking right here.
Here’s a brief rundown of the world of Overwatch provided by Blizzard:
“Soldiers. Scientists. Adventurers. Oddities. In a time of global crisis, an international task force of heroes banded together to restore peace to a war-torn world: OVERWATCH. Overwatch ended the crisis, and helped maintain peace in the decades that followed, inspiring an era of exploration, innovation, and discovery. But, after many years, Overwatch’s influence waned, and it was eventually disbanded. Now, conflict is rising across the world again, and the call has gone out to heroes old and new. Are you with us?”
It was recently revealed that a Competitive Mode is in the works and will be a part of the game’s first update, which pits players of similar skill together and allows them to rank up. While a specific release date for the new update has not yet been revealed, it is currently slated for a late June release.
