First Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan Artwork Surfaces

by Dean James

2016 is bound to be a big year for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles brand with the upcoming live action movie sequel set to debut this summer, along with the ongoing cartoon series on Nickelodeon. It also sounds like we will be getting yet another game based on the property, and it appears the first artwork for the game has surfaced.

Rumors came out late last month about the existence of a game known as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan after it was rated by the Australian Classification Board as coming to Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

The biggest news about this game was that Platinum Games was developing it, which added a lot more hype to the impending reveal. However, while many expected it would be officially announced during The Game Awards 2015 or PSX, those both came and went without any news.

According to Gematsu, the first leak has come in the form of artwork for the game. This is said to have been found by Xbox Live watchdog lifelower on Twitter, who has found stuff in the past that was found in hidden areas of Xbox Live.

The artwork seen above and to the right appears to be based on the IDW line of comics, which will make a lot of people happy. However, it is definitely a little different from what some many expect, so hopefully we have some different skins to unlock as well.

With this being up on the Xbox Live infrastructure in some way already, maybe this game will come pretty soon after being officially announced. At this point, the reveal has to be soon, so all we can do is wait.
