MixedBag Games have created a beautiful little shooter called Futuridium.

You can buy it on iOS today for $1.99, but  you can get it’s bigger better, hi-res version for free, on both PC and Mac platforms.

The game is a 10-minute delight, and anyone who liked The Impossible Game, or the art stylings of Rez and other stylized vector graphics will be at home, throwing controllers and/or iPhones in frustration, in between chasing high scores and appreciating your spacecrafts pretty neon trails.

Your aim is to destroy all the power cubes in each stage, in order to open up the dreadnought’s core, which once destroyed, takes you to the next ship, and one step further away from stranded in space.  There are 13 levels – getting half way warrants a medal in my books, so don’t expect an easy ride.

It’s an impressive first title for the tiny studio, and is certainly worth ten minutes of your day! A controller is highly recommended on the PC/Mac versions.

Just head on over to the games website to grab it now!
