Gearbox Software has released a trailer called “The Mask of Mayhem” for their new Borderlands game. The trailer is obviously meant to hype up their upcoming PAX East presentation tomorrow, but it does an excellent job with it’s sleek and artistic look. Gearbox has been teasing the upcoming title for the past few weeks with random screenshots on their Twitter. Now we have something to really look forward to when they take the stage.

The trailer itself shows various Borderlands characters, new and old, in a stylish art decor piece that resembles old Greek statues. With a trailer like this, Gearbox doesn’t need to show anything right away, especially since Borderlands 3 has been in the forefront of each and every fans mindset since the end of the last numbered entry in the series.

If the anticipation wasn’t high enough already, it’s now reached a fever pitch. Luckily we won’t have to wait long to find out if Randy Pitchford and company are ready to give us what we want. Gearbox will take the stage at PAX East tomorrow at 2:00 pm EST/11:00 am PST, and hopefully we get the announcement we’ve been waiting for. You can check out the teaser trailer here:
