While Best Buy has a lot of great sales this week, we cannot forget about Target, who has some of their own this week. There are definitely not as many in comparison games wise, but these are certainly worth a look as well.
The first deal is actually similar to one offerer by Best Buy this week, but even more improved. Rather than $20 off like Best Buy, Target is offering the Nintendo 2DS for only $99.99, or $30 off the $129.99 MSRP. If you are looking to pick up the 2DS at Target, you can also get How To Train Your Dragon 2 for the Nintendo 3DS at a discounted price of $19.99.
Similarly, The LEGO Movie Videogame for Nintendo 3DS is also $19.99. However, that is not all, as the console version for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U is also marked down to $39.99. If you purchase any of these versions of the game, you can also save $10 on the purchase of the Blu-ray of The LEGO movie, which releases on Tuesday.
To celebrate the start of the World Cup this past week, Target has taken $10 off the price of 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, putting the cost at $49.99.
Lastly, we have certainly the strangest tie-in deal of the week that involves the new EA Sports UFC game for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. By buying the game on either console, you will receive two free 6-oz. cans of Planters peanuts. This is far from the first strange tie-in at Target, with past deals involving Doritos and beef jerky when buying a game.
All of these sale prices at Target will be available through this coming Saturday, June 21.
