Kazunori Yamauchi of Polyphony Digital recently confirmed that a new Gran Turismo Anywhere feature will be coming to GT5 in early Feburary.  This should bring PlayStation 3 Gran Turismo 5 players back to the utterly non sensical B-Spec mode.  The new mode will allow players to use remote racing features from the Gran Turismo website.

There you can monitor progress of races and check the results of races you remote controlled from there.

Early Feburary was the official date set out by the devloper on his Twitter account.  And I don’t hold it against you for not being too familiar with the mode.  It is the RPG aspect of Gran Turismo that is often bypassed for the more hands on approach to racing that you get in A-Spec.

Here you manage races from a pit crew perspective, but completing B-Spec will help you earn points towards leveling and unlocking new vehicles.
