The release of Grand Theft Auto V is just a couple of months away, but much of the game still remains a mystery. Rockstar Games’ information faucet has slowed to a trickle in recent months, but apparently they’ve got plenty to share in the coming weeks. And while fans will learn more about GTA V multiplayer and finally see some actual gameplay, one question that fans have constantly asking Rockstar is whether or not the game will arrive on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
In a recent question and answer session, fans posed to Rockstar yet again. Unfortunately, the answer has remained the same.
We are completely focused on delivering the best experience on Xbox and PS3
“The only versions of the game that we have announced are for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation®3 which are set for a September 17th worldwide release. We don’t have anything to share about the possibility of a next-gen or a PC platform release at this time and we are completely focused on delivering the best possible experience for the consoles people have right now.”
The massive GTA PC community has been asking Rockstar this question for about as long as the game has been officially announced. Knowing that Rockstar has no problems with completely abandoning the platform with some it’s biggest games, PC fans definitely may be missing out on one of the biggest releases of 2013.
Update: Today Rockstar confirmed that the first GTA V Gameplay Trailer will be released tommorrow July 9th, 2013.
