Halo: Cryptum Novel Released

by | @AttackFanboy | on January 5, 2011

Reading is important.  It’s almost as important as playing video games.  For this reason, you should read about video games.  Here’s a great opportunity for you, the Halo: Cryptum novel has just been released by Greg Bear.  The first novel of the trilogy, Cryptum is a take on the Forerunner and their battles against the Flood.  Sharpen your Halo knowledge so you know all about the games that 343 will be releasing in the future.

The Forerunner Saga is available on Amazon.com right now for around $15.

100,000 years ago, the galaxy was populated by a great variety of beings.  But one species–eons beyond all others in both technology and knowledge–achieved dominance.  They ruled in peace but met opposition with quick and brutal effectiveness.  They were the Forerunners–the keepers of the Mantle, the next stage of life in the Universe’s Living Time.  And then they vanished.  This is their story.

You can begin the read at Tor , followed up with the second chapter via the Halo Waypoint module on Xbox Live, then BAM you’re hooked.  Reading pushers, its a dirty business.
