Halo Wars 2 Development Images Revealed By Creative Assembly

Halo Wars 2 was announced just a short while ago by Microsoft at Gamescom.  With a veteran strategy game development team on the case with Creative Assembly, fans who’ve been calling for the sequel can somewhat breathe easily that the series should be in good hands.

However, it looks like Creative Assembly is also breathing a sigh of relief as well, finally revealing that they are working on the title.  Taking a moment to announce a hiring initiative for Halo Wars 2 at the studio, Creative Assembly revealed the first development images for the strategy title.

Still not much is known about Halo Wars 2.  A cinematic trailer was used for the reveal itself, though rumors have been circulating that game will feature episodic content in telling an offshoot story in the Halo universe.

Halo Wars 2 is slated for a fall 2016 release on Xbox One and Windows 10.  You can check out the development images below, released earlier by Creative Assembly on Twitter.
