Hunter Biden Was Furious With Obama For One Moment At A Fundraiser, And He Almost Jumped On Stage

Hunter almost did something unthinkable to Obama.

Hunter Biden was very angry with former President Barack Obama after something happened at a June 2024 fundraiser, according to a new book by Jonathan Karl. Obama put his hand on then-President Joe Biden and guided him off the stage. Hunter Biden saw this as very disrespectful to his father.

The moment went viral online and added to growing worries about the president’s age and whether he could still do the job. According to Fox News, Hunter Biden felt that Obama had embarrassed his father in public during what should have been a normal campaign event.

In an interview with Karl, Hunter Biden talked about how close he came to confronting Obama right there. “I almost jumped up on the stage and said, ‘Don’t ever f–king do that to the president of the United States again – ever,'” Hunter told the author. He said his father was just taking his time to wave at the crowd and was not confused.

Hunter Knew This Would Look Bad

Hunter Biden knew right away that this moment would cause problems. He remembered thinking that the video would spread fast on social media and give critics more reasons to attack his father. Hunter told Karl that what happened “really, really, really, really pissed me off.”

This fundraiser moment was not the only time something like this happened. Just a few days before, there was another awkward moment at a G7 event in Italy. President Biden seemed to wander away from a group of world leaders. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni had to walk over, touch his arm, and bring him back to the group.

The White House tried to fix the damage from these moments by saying the clips were misleading. Officials said the videos had an “artificially narrow frame” that made it only look like Biden was walking away from the crowd. But these explanations did not make people feel better about what they saw. Even with the hard feelings in the Biden family, Obama has stayed busy in Democratic politics

Polls from that time showed that most voters thought Biden was too old to be president. Videos of Biden being helped or guided by friends, staff, and family members became common in the last months of his time in office. Each new video made more people believe that the president needed help just getting through normal public events.

The Obama fundraiser moment, as told in Karl’s book through details shared by Axios, gives us a rare look into the family problems and frustrations around Biden’s final months in office. It shows how much Hunter Biden wanted to protect his father and how upset the family got when anyone suggested the president was having trouble doing his job, and he keeps backing candidates in important races around the country.
