The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of 2017’s most anticipated releases and we heard earlier this week that it would have a presence at The Game Awards 2016, just like we got two years ago. With the pre-show we just got a brand new trailer and it showed some very intriguing stuff.
The latest trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild features a lot of new content that we haven’t seen before, including the presence of towns and NPCs. This really look to flesh out the world that was pretty limited to what Nintendo wanted us to see at E3.
What is most interesting from the trailer though is what appears to be our first glimpse at Zelda in the game, with an outfit that looks very similar to Link’s in the game with the blue color scheme.
The trailer almost plays it like this could be a female playable Link with such a similar look, but with that haven’t been said to not be the case at E3, it has to be Zelda. However, could we potentially get a playable Zelda in the game instead, as that is what they said they would do if there was a female playable character? That’s something we’ll have to wait and see.
More content is going to come later in the show courtesy of Reggie Fils-Aime, so make sure to stay tuned.
