The free-to-play ARPG known as Marvel Heroes has seen a handful of new additions today. To kick things off, a new face has been added to the Heroes roster. Just in time for Avengers: Age of Ultron, Vision is now a playable character. The 47th Hero will run you $17.99 and for those that purchase before May 1st (tomorrow), Vision’s Avengers: Age of Ultron movie costume will be yours for free. If gameplay specifics are more important to you than aesthetics, Vision will have access to 24 powers falling under the Density Control, Solar Power, and Android skill trees.

As long as we’re on the subject of the movie, an Age of Ultron-inspired game mode is also now present in Marvel Heroes. The mode pits groups of five against Ultron Sentries in New York’s Central Park and culminates in a showdown with Ultron Prime himself at the Avengers Mansion. The game’s best loot is said to be awarded if players emerge from the battle victorious.

Lastly, the game now has its own set of Achievements. These challenges have a wide range of completion requirements. You’ll see the standard “reach level X” achievement present as well as more hardcore ones, such as “loot 10,000 unique items.” Marvel fans will also be delighted to come across completely fan service-centered achievements. One such achievement is called “I Understood That Reference” and it is activated upon talking to Agent Lee. If that wasn’t enough, players are rewarded for their various feats with “costumes, pets, credits and more.”

If you’ve yet to give Marvel Heroes a try, now might be the perfect time to dive in, especially while we’re all still riding the hype train on its way to Avengers: Age of Ultron.
