Minecraft’s new armor system for 1.9

by | @AttackFanboy | on September 16, 2011

Jens Bergenstein of Mojang confirmed today that the team is indeed working on version 1.9 of the Minecraft beta.  While 1.8 launched just days ago, the team is still hard at work for more updates to the game.

Bergenstein revealed that he is working on developing an armor system for the game.  Jens said he is working on making armor “slightly more durable” and working on a “simpler armor value calculation”.

Will it release before Minecraft leaves beta this November?  It’s a little too early to tell.
