Naughty Dog has now hired some amazing artists to work for them on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
One of the new recruits for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is Glauco Longhi who is a Character Artist for the game. Longhi has already shared character models of this previous work and they look amazing. If you look on his Twitter account, he’s shared tons of realistic looking human and character models.
The picture below shows us one of the pieces of work that Longhi has done. The facials that Longhi is able to produce on human character models are very realistic. Naughty Dog mentioned in the past they wanted the characters to be more life-like in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Longhi will be able to achieve this.
Another new employee for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is Jacob Norris. Norris is an experienced Texture Artist and is also an Environment Artist too. Before working for Naughty Dog, he was previously hired by Konami to help out with Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. He has also worked for Insomniac Games for many years too.
Naughty Dog is adamant to make the levels in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End look consistently great. They want to make sure both the single player and multiplayer environments look beautiful. Norris’ hiring is a step in the right direction for Naughty Dog to reach their goal.
