It looks like hoops fans will be getting their first look at the next-generation of NBA 2K games later this week. 2K Sports has just released a teaser titled SixSix13, showing off some old gameplay footage from the NBA 2K franchise. This can’t mean much other than the company getting ready to reveal NBA 2K14.
The reveal coincides with the game one of the NBA Finals, perhaps 2K Sports has ponied up some cash for an advertisment during the championship. Since 2K won’t be at E3 2013, hopefully we’ll see what the future holds for 2K Sports’ flagship franchise.
The possibilities on next-gen consoles seem promising for a franchise like NBA 2K. We’ve seen some incredible tech demos over the past few months that showed off some of the most realistic looking graphics we’ve ever seen. We’ll have to wait and see if these will spill over into one of the most popular sports franchises in the industry.
