2K Sports has revealed that there will be server maintenance being done to NBA 2K16 today. You won’t be able to play the game online until it’s done.
The official 2K Support Twitter Page announced: “Final reminder: NBA 2K16 server maintenance is about to start at 12AM PST. You won’t be able to play online at all while this is going on.”
Sadly, the 2K Support page did not give an indication as to how long the maintenance will be going on for. The good news is that they are working on the servers while most people living in North America are all sleeping. This might bad news for Australians and New Zealanders since it will be after work hours.
Server maintenance is important so hopefully the down time does not last that long. The PSN was down for a few hours earlier today, but it eventually came back online. Both EA and Blizzard also had server troubles earlier this week.
The server maintenance for NBA 2K16 shouldn’t take too long, although check the 2K Support Twitter page for any updates. If everything is smooth, the servers should be back online quickly. If not, more time might be needed to fix them.
