2016 is the 20th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise and the series is being celebrated in style all year around, from giveaways to new games. We already got Pokken Tournament earlier this year, along with the VC release of the original games, and we know Pokemon Sun and Moon are coming later this year, of which we’re going to be getting new information very soon.
Pokemon Sun and Moon are coming to Nintendo 3DS around the world on November 18, with us getting a little more of a glimpse last week through coverage during the Nintendo Treehouse stream.
With a release coming later this year for Pokemon Sun and Moon, we are bound to get info throughout the next few months and the next reveal is coming in a week.
As announced through The Pokemon Company Japanese Twitter profile, new Pokemon Sun and Moon information will be coming next Friday, July 1 at what works out to be 9:00 am EDT.
We have no idea what kind of information is going to be coming out about the game at this point, whether it’s a video or just a news reveal, but I would imagine we’ll at least see a few new Pokemon of some sort.
