A new 45 second long teaser has been released for Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens that contains a lot of new footage not seen before.
The new footage was shown by American TV network ABC last night. It shows some new footage mixed in with stuff we have seen before. Nevertheless, it all looks pretty cool.
One of the more interesting scenes is that we see Finn using his lightsaber to fight a Stormtrooper. We also see Leia leading The Resistance too. She no longer bears the “Princess” moniker as revealed in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly.
Some eagle-eyed viewers also saw Admiral Ackbar for the very first time in Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens. He can be seen in the far right during the same scene with Leia and everyone else meeting up.
However, the new teaser still doesn’t show any other new characters we haven’t seen before. We will have to wait until the movie is out to see the likes of Snoke and of course, Luke Skywalker.
Disney has been very good with the footage released from Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens so far. There hasn’t been any major story spoilers revealed. This is something all trailers and teasers should do.
