Bandai Namco has revealed four all-new characters for Tekken 7, but it looks like more names are left to be announced eventually.
A fan asked Tekken 7’s director, Katsuhiro Harada, on Twitter if more characters are left to be revealed for the game. Harada answered with a simple “yep“. This is good news for fans that want to see some new blood in the franchise.
The new characters revealed so far for Tekken 7 have been Shaheen, Lucky Chloe, Katarina and Claudio. The arcade version is set to be released very soon, although it appears the console version of the game could have more characters.
Speaking of the console version of Tekken 7, Bandai Namco are still keeping quiet of its existence. Someone asked Harada on Twitter what is the release date for the console version of the game. Harada replied it’s a secret, but to stay tuned for more announcements.
As we reported a few days ago, the official Tekken 7 website has put up the characters revealed for the game so far. There are only 20 characters listed so far and some fan favorites are still missing. The biggest character missing is Jin Kazama. One might think he will be added to the game later. For now, only 20 characters have been revealed for the upcoming arcade version.
