A new Xbox One update should be available for you to download very soon. It doesn’t add much as it’s just preparing for the big update coming this Fall.

The new Xbox One update was announced by Major Nelson on his official Twitter. The update comes with a small fix to party chat and nothing much more. Most of it is preparation for the UI overhaul coming later this year.

The new UI was shown to some people at Gamescom and looks pretty cool. Preview members can be able to play around with it first in September. The rest of us have to wait until November to receive it.

The current UI has been criticized by some users. It’s not bad, but some things are hard to find with the current design. The new UI will hopefully make things easier for users to navigate.

November 2015 will also be the month when Xbox One gamers will be able to play over 130 Xbox 360 games too. Several games will be backwards compatible with many more to be announced in the future.

Fall 2015 should be a fun time for everyone really. Lots of new features are coming to the Xbox One, as well as lots of great new games too.
