Ninja Gaiden Z revealed at Tokyo Game Show

Earlier this month, legendary developer Keiji Inafune revealed Yaiba as his next new zombie game. Earlier today at Tokyo Game Show, Inafune and Team Ninja revealed Yaiba:Ninja Gaiden Z. This will be a direct spin-off of the Ninja Gaiden franchise, that follows the game’s main character (Yaiba), as he attempts to track down Ryu Hyabusa.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is being developed by Team Ninja, Comcept, and Spark Unlimited. Neither when this new game would arrive, and what platforms it would arrive for have been revealed at this time. Yesterday, Team Ninja announced that there would be a new game revealed at TGS, and it looks like Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z was this mystery title.

After a luke warm reception for Ninja Gaiden 3, Team Ninja han’t given up on the franchise by a long shot. The developer has a new Ninja Gaiden title set to arrive on the Wii U later this year, with Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge.
