Planetside 2 is an ever growing online community and the introduction of the Directives system and Roadmap look to take the game into the future with goals for players and community interaction.

The Planetside 2 Directives System is great for new players and veterans as it rewards playtime with an in-game achievement system and allows them to participate in tiered goals to set themselves apart from the pack. Your ‘Directive Score’ is kept from the moment you turn the game on and tracks based on how many of these goals you have accomplished and you earn additional points for each Directive tier completed, five per directive tree. Once you do so you can ‘prestige’ in a way with your Auraxim soldier and earn special Auraxim weapons and appearance items based on your prestige. The Directives are apart of all roles in the game from tanks, to vehicles to pistols, whatever you like to do, you will earn points. More directives will be added frequently to keep up with the community.

Speaking of community the Roadmap is growing, this is where players have a chance to interactive with the developers and have a say in the development process. Right now up for showcasing is the Valkyrie which players will find similar to an ESF that can carry three additional passengers, a gunner, and two rumble seat passengers. It has a 74 approval score. So if you are apart of the Planetside 2 go and have your say on the new aircraft they are looking to add.

Planetside 2 is now available on PC and is looking to be coming to Playstation 4.
